Meet Dr. Jean Wright

About Dr. Jean

Dr. Jean Wright was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. Her nine years of honorable military service allowed her to live in Texas, Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, Indiana, and even overseas. Upon returning to Detroit, she embarked on a 35-year career as a public school teacher before becoming the President/CEO of her nonprofit organization, The Virtual Dialysis Support Center (VDSC). Currently, Dr. Wright is the President/CEO of One Spirit Management Corporation, while also pursuing her passion as a full-time author and part-time tourist.

SUICIDE PREVENTION

During her tenure as President/CEO of the Virtual Dialysis Support Center, Dr. Wright dedicated five years to raising community awareness about risk factors and warning signs of suicide. With her license as a Suicide Prevention Instructor, she trained and certified hundreds of participants in local and online seminars, empowering them to help save the lives of those at risk for suicide.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Dr. Wright holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology (group sciences minor), Masters in Teaching, a PhD in Public Health, a License in Suicide Prevention and is available for speaking engagements, especially in the areas of education, health, and suicide prevention.

Dr. Wright possesses a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a minor in Group Sciences, a Master's Degree in Teaching, a PhD in Public Health, and a License in Suicide Prevention Instruction. She is available for speaking engagements, particularly in the fields of education, health, and suicide prevention.
